...Periods of heavy rain and an unusually high freezing level will
create a threat of river flooding this week...
Period of significant rainfall are likely through this week. The
rain could produce flooding on rivers. The freezing level will be
unusually high through the middle of the week, so the
precipitation in the mountains will be almost all rain Tuesday
night through Wednesday and Thursday. It is difficult at this time
to say whether or not flooding is likely--but stay tuned to the
latest forecasts as conditions change.
